Donating your pre-loved goods is as easy as dropping your items at one of our many Lifeline op shops or arranging a free pick-up if you have large items or a bulk donation.

However, if this is not an option for you, simply drop your donation in one of our many Lifeline bins or donation hubs located in communities across Queensland.

Bin donation guidelines

Thank you for supporting Lifeline Queensland. Your donation helps us save lives. Here’s what you need to know about donating via a Lifeline bin (or donation hub).

  • Before making your donation in one of our bins, please ensure that it will fit inside.
  • We gratefully accept all good-quality, wearable clothes, shoes, accessories and manchester. This includes items for men, women and children.
  • Please ensure all items are free of rips, stains, tears and broken zippers.
  • We cannot accept whitegoods, electrical goods or mattresses at our donation bins (but you can request a pick-up for larger items).
  • Please do not drop broken or damaged items in or around Lifeline bins.
  • Leaving items outside Lifeline bins is illegal, and unfortunately, we will not be able to sell them in our shops. We may also end up having to pay for waste disposal, which takes valuable funds away from our crisis and support services.
  • If you come across a Lifeline bin that is full, we’d be very grateful if you could let us know via the form below.
