As a Lifeline Shops volunteer, you'll be an essential part of our team. Every volunteer not only makes a tangible difference to people who need it, but also experiences a sense of connection, belonging and shared purpose. Our retail volunteers are often the public face of Lifeline, offering warm and friendly service. We offer a range of days and times, with many of our shops open seven days a week.

Available activities are as diverse as the people who fill them including:

  • Customer Service team members.
  • Warehouse Team members.
  • Truck drivers.
  • Sorting and categorising.
  • Pricing.
  • Preparing donations for the shop floor.
