It is hard to comprehend that more than 3,000 lives are lost each year to suicide, touching the hearts of at least 400,000 friends, colleagues and loved ones.
Lifeline Queensland's Crisis Supporters answers over 12,000 calls for help a month and this number has been increasing since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic.
On average it costs $39 to answer one call for help.
