Shopping at Lifeline Queensland is a great way to save money, but did you know that you’re also helping to save lives and save the planet?
You can shop our 120+ Lifeline op shops across Queensland and Tweed Heads (excluding Darling Downs) for donated goods such as clothing, books, furniture, bric-a-brac and homewares. By purchasing pre-loved, quality items from our shops you’re giving a second life to each item you buy. That means fewer items headed to landfill.
We’ve also added some new homewares and accessories into shops – so you can pick up some gifts as you thrift. All of which helps to support people across Australia when they need it most, because profits from our shops go toward our 13 11 14 Crisis Support Line and suicide prevention services.
Shopping at Lifeline is an active step in bringing hope to people in every corner of Queensland.
There are many types of Lifeline op shops:
Each of our shops exist because of the generosity of the local community. From donations of good-quality, second-hand items to shoppers looking for unique and practical items, you are making a difference in the lives of many.
Purchase a Lifeline Shop Gift Card and give the gift of thrifting! The gift card is available in our shops across Queensland (excluding Darling Downs and our Lifeline Queensland online op shop). They make the perfect present for someone special and can be redeemed in store for unique second-hand items, from clothing and furniture to bric-a-brac and books.
Can’t make it to a shop? No problem! Our Lifeline online op shop features more than 10,000 items in more than 130 categories. You can also purchase items through eBay. All proceeds from online purchases help support the 13 11 14 Lifeline Crisis Support Line.
One person’s clutter is another person’s must-have! Plus, you could end up saving a life. From china cabinets to clothing, bric-a-brac to books, donations of pre-loved, quality items are happily accepted by dropping by a shop or requesting a free pick-up.
Our Lifeline Shops serve Queensland communities with the help of our many, dedicated volunteers. From staffing our op shops to Bookfest and more, there are lots of ways you can volunteer your time.
