Special Celebration

John chose to celebrate his 50th birthday by doing something incredible - shaving off his beard to raise funds for Lifeline. 

"Without Lifeline, I probably wouldn't have made it past my 30's, and that is why I wanted to do something special and give back" John said. 

This was the first time in 14 years since John last had a shave. 

John said, "I'm going to be marking half a century of survival on this glorious blue marble of ours. But no one's actually seen my face in 14 years. Not even me." 

The stakes were high. If John could raise $1,000 he would commit to having a photo of his bald face as his Facebook profile picture for a month... 

And he did it! John raised over $1,200! Because of people like John, there are more crucial moments of connection that bring hope and save lives. Thanks John!
