Do you have an old couch you no longer need? How about some books, clothes or other bric-a-brac? Donate those items to help save a life! Funds from the sale of your donation in a Lifeline Shop go directly to Lifeline programs that help people in need, including our 24-hour 13 11 14 Crisis Support Line. As a bonus, donating to Lifeline can help to save the planet by giving a second life to your pre-loved items and keeping them out of landfill.
Drop off at a donation bin or hub: Clothes donations and small household goods can be dropped at one of our donation bins (donation hubs). Please remember that your donation must fit in the bin. If you come across a full bin, please do not leave donations outside of the bin. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to use these items. It is also illegal. You can report a full bin using our online form.
We are always accepting clean, good-quality items. As a general rule, if you’d give it to a friend, you can donate it! Funds received from selling your pre-loved items go directly to supporting our 13 11 14 Crisis Support Line.
Furniture: All items are accepted. Couches, cabinets, beds and bookshelves – we welcome donations of large and small items that are clean and in good condition.
Clothes: We accept good quality, wearable clothing, shoes and accessories with no rips, stains or tears. Bagged up in lots (ie women’s, men’s and children’s items) is great!
Books: All books in good condition are accepted.
Bric-a-brac: Wine racks, candelabras, crockery or any other curios and ornaments are welcome as donations.
We appreciate your kindness and generosity. It is through your donations and purchases at a Lifeline shop in your local community, that we can answer the call from people in need. Your kindness is truly helping to save lives, and we thank you for your generosity.
